The Sky-Eagle Production House proudly announces UPLIFT: The Indigenous Fashion Renaissance, a first-of-its-kind biennial fashion event honoring Indigenous creativity, sustainability, and Veterans resilience. Held August 15–16, 2025 at the New Mexico Museum of Art – Vladem Contemporary, this two-night celebration is designed to uplift Indigenous voices in fashion—particularly designers, models, and crew and veterans who have never before had a platform in Santa Fe during the renowned Indian Market season, or who want to expand into new cutting edge fashion.
A free event for the designers, the event aims to honor our veterans, and the new warriors, our leaders in Indigenous Communities.
Conceived by Dante Biss-Grayson, an Osage artist, U.S. veteran, and co-founder of the Sky-Eagle Collection, UPLIFT centers the intersection of Indigenous design and lived experience. This is more than a fashion show—it is a cultural movement.
“UPLIFT is about honoring those who serve, who create, and who carry culture forward,” says Biss-Grayson. “This is our time, and we are claiming it with boldness, grace, and intention.”

About Sky-Eagle Collection
Dante Biss-Grayson
Osage Artist, Writer, and Fashion Designer and Fashion Show Producer
I am a multifaceted artist, poet, writer, film producer, and fashion designer, constantly exploring new directions and seeking to push the boundaries of Native American art and fashion. My passion for classical methods and contemporary vision has led me to create unique pieces of art that transcend mediums such as painting, holographic sculpture, poetry, and fashion design. I am a painter, sculptor, writer, and designer, always striving to express my thoughts and emotions through various platforms.
As a veteran who has struggled with PTSD, I have found solace and purpose in my art. Having studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Holland and IAIA in Santa Fe, N.M, and as the apprentice of Earl Biss, my adopted father, I have been able to further develop my classical techniques and incorporate them into my contemporary work. Through my art, I have found a way to externalize my trauma and bring attention to important issues impacting Native communities. It is my hope that my work can inspire others and bring awareness to these issues.
As a fashion designer and fashion show producer, I have always been drawn to the power of clothing to empower and inspire. I believe that fashion design can be a symbol of empowerment and utilitarian use, while also drawing attention to important issues affecting Indian Country. Through my Native American and Veteran-owned fashion brand, the Sky-Eagle Collection, I aim to inspire a new generation of warriors who walk in the modern world. Our designs are contemporary, modern, and aimed at bringing attention to issues that are often overlooked. We are proud to be part of the movement to elevate Native voices and to inspire the future. Our message is simple but powerful: We are Still Here!
